The son of a Spanish/Irish Mother, and a Native American/Black American Father who were both born and raised in Sacramento, CA and converted to Islam in the 70's, Eesa grew up in the Pacific Northwest in a unique household. He garnished much of his holistic attitude from his parents, and from growing up in the Puget Sound area until he was 18 years old, where upon he settled back in California to go to school and work. It was these places where he spent many years being exposed to the nature of the west coast which helped spark his fascination in traveling and documenting the world.
In 2013, Eesa moved to the Middle East to teach ESL to college students. He received a Bachelors degree in Linguistics, and a Masters Degree in Education from New York. He currently lives in the Middle East most of the year, travels the world snowboarding in the winter and parts of the summer, and shoots short action videos and photography on the side.
